From the moment my scans came back I was so eager to share these photos from Crystals bridal portrait session! I couldn’t though because her wedding hadn’t taken place yet, and I didn’t want to spoil the surprise for her soon to be husband, Matt. Coming off of their stunning engagement session in Cannon Beach, OR, I didn’t think anything could top those photos…oh, but wait until you see Crystal!!!
Crystals session began at my home on Bainbridge Island and she was joined by her good friend, Leslie, with whom she bonded over wedding planning (they both were doing it together). We started Crystal’s bridal session at my home so I can ensure a bride’s wedding gown doesn’t get dirty. In this case though, she chose not to wear her wedding gown, but rather to wear another dress she picked out specially for the session. She used the session as the opportunity to have her wedding day hair and make up trial with Three Arrows Salon and Beautifully Polished so she could see how everything read in the photographs.
With no restrictions on where we could go, I naturally chose the dirtiest place I could think of …. a farm of course! We headed off to Suyematsu Farm, a local farm and vineyard, to take some more photos with her holding a huge bouquet of peonies.
Crystal and Matt are now married and I can’t wait to share their love story and romantic photos from their wedding at Hood Canal Vista Pavilion in Port Gamble, WA.
