Happy Mother's Day to all the momma's out there! You're all so hard working and wonderful, so today I hope you're being pampered and getting lots of hugs and kisses from your babies.
"What greater aspiration and challenge are there for a mother than the hope of raising a great son or daughter?" - Rose Kennedy
Who doesn't love a good cupcake? They are gooey, sweet, and come in so many flavors. The only real dilemma is what flavor to choose! For this little outing, I invited my daughter and her two sweet friends to dress to "get fancy" and visit our local Kitsap cupcake shop, Bella Bella Cupcakes in Silverdale WA. It's a tiny little shop nestled in a quirky little location but once you find it you're rewarded with a huge array of delicious cupcakes including vegan and gluten-free options!
Some of my brides surely recognize this local gem because they have served Bella Bella Cupcakes at their wedding. They are the perfect alternative to full wedding cake slices (although they do those too) and with all the selections it can be so much fun to serve them on gorgeous plates and platters mixed in with flowers and other decor. Donna is the owner, and typically brides work with Bodie, the Wedding Coordinator (I got a few shots of him & featured him below) and if couples wish to have a wedding designed and created, Stacy, their cake decorator extraordinaire works her magic alongside their incredible baker, Chasitty.
The girls loved looking at all the pretty cake plates Bella Bella Cupcakes used for decor. There are no shortage of Parisian style white chairs and kids tables peppered throughout. Parents can take a break and enjoy an espresso while the kids eat their cupcakes and draw on a cute chalk wall. They also have long tables that showcase all the party themes they've hosted. The girls really liked looking at all these and dreaming about having a party there. Cuteness all around!
