How I preserve the memories from today

A dear friend gave me a little journal that I carry with me virtually everywhere.  It is titled "Q&A a Day for Moms: A 5-Year Journal".  It contains 365 questions.  Each year I cycle through the same set of questions.  By the end of 5 years, I'll have 1,825 answers to look back on!  Questions like, Do you have any rules, and what are they?  How is your love life? and I'm so glad we _____ last week.

The questions sometimes give me reason to pause, and I record them later after I've thought them through a bit more.  Every once and a while I fall behind and play catch up for a week or two, but most of the time I simply write a quick sentence or two and go about my day.  The beauty of this kind of journaling is it's easy to be successful day after day, even when I'm super busy.  As the year's pass, it's going to be interesting to see how my answers change and evolve as my little girl grows older and as we have new experiences.  I also suspect this will be a treasured keepsake.
